Welcome To Science!

I am excited to be able to explore God’s magnificent creation once again for the 2016/2017 school year!  Third, fourth, and fifth grades will seek to honor the Creator through a curriculum based on God's design of His creation.  Using God's Word as its foundation, this curriculum engages students in, "discovery, exploration, and investigation of God's purposefully designed world...providing a generation of children and future scientists with a God-centered perspective of creation, responsibility, and stewardship."

Students will discover their inner scientist through experiments, observations, and reflections.  We will be using a textbook and a workbook primarily in class.  Students will have vocabulary homework for each new chapter.  Most tests and quizzes will be open book/study guide.  If a student cannot complete a test during class, he/she will be required to check out a textbook and complete the test as homework.

Please ask your child about our experiments and discussions.  They will love to share with you!

Fifth Grade tradition in science.  We build, a natural disaster wipes out our house, we eat it. See,...science isn't hard.

And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
