The Wonderful World of Yearbook

Liberty Christian Schools’ yearbook course seeks to expose students to a variety of requirements in the world of journalism, including photography, composition, planning, time-management, interview, page construction, photo distortion and internet navigation.  Heavily reliant upon student self-management, this course gives students life skills and experiences.  Because the sole purpose of this class remains to generate a school yearbook, the class must meet certain deadlines and thus must be self-motivated to complete assigned tasks.  Always seeking the very best product, students challenge each other to revise and tweak work, and are never satisfied with anything less than their very best.  Although there may not be specifically assigned homework, students are consistently working and developing ideas and pages, whether at home, in school, or at an event.  This class is considered an elective, and yet requires the same amount of hard work and dedication as a regular course.

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
