Course Description:

Accounting will provide the student with a basic understanding of general accounting procedures as they are related to a service business and a merchandising business. There will also be an emphasis placed upon the application of accounting principles to the individual as well as the needs of the family for financial responsibility.

Goals:

1. To give the student a good understanding of each aspect of the accounting equation.
2. To develop sound business skills and principles which will enhance all students in the area of financial responsibility and planning, and in their proper relationships to God.
3. To lay the proper accounting foundations for those students who wish to pursue accounting and business as God’s call for their lives.
