Supply List
The following is a copy of the page sent home over the summer:
LIBERTY CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS
The following supplies may be obtained for the appropriate grades by the first day of school. Additional information for any school supplies will be distributed by the teacher. P.E. Clothes are required for grades 1st through 10th.
PRESCHOOL – 6 glue sticks, 1 Elmer’s glue, 1 pkg adhesive googly eyes, 3 rolls paper towels, 2 packages of non-fluted coffee filters, 1 bottle antibacterial all-purpose cleaner, 1 Lysol spray can, 2 water color paint kits, 2 combo bag of plastic utensils, 1 full size backpack (include an extra change of clothes in plastic Ziploc bag), washable markers, refillable water bottle. Full day (additional items): 1 Target nap pad (labeled), lunch box (labeled), baby blanket in tote bag, small pillow (0ptional).
KINDERGARTEN – Full-size backpack, bath size towel w/small blanket and tote bag, lunch box, all labeled, please. Class supplies fee $25.00.
GRADE 1 – A package of sharpened #2 pencils, erasable colored pencils (twistables if possible), a box of crayons, 4 glue sticks, 1 pair sharp small scissors, 2 pink pearl erasers, 1 family size box of Kleenex, small pencil sharpener (that stores shavings), 1 supply box (approx. 9″x5″), a backpack or book bag to carry books, papers, etc., NKJV or NIV Bible (large print if possible), 1 eight ounce bottle of hand sanitizer, $1 for vinyl take-home folder, $6 for Weekly Reader subscription, markers (optional).
GRADE 2 – A package of sharpened #2 pencils, erasable colored pencils (twistables if possible), a box of crayons, 4 glue sticks, 1 highlighter, scissors, 2 large pink eraser, small pencil sharpener (that stores shavings), supply box, 2 pkg. wide ruled notebook paper, 1 large box Kleenex, NKJV or NIV Bible (large print if possible), 2 pocket folders, $1 for vinyl take-home folder, $6 for Weekly Reader subscription, markers (optional).
GRADE 3 – NIV Bible (not children’s version), pack of wide ruled binder paper, 12 #2 pencils, good eraser, colored pen or pencil for correcting papers, scissors (labeled), 12″ ruler (standard and metric), bottle of white school glue, 4 glue sticks, 1 yellow highlighter, crayons, family size box of Kleenex, $1 for vinyl take-home folder, 1″ three-ring binder.
GRADE 4 – NIV Bible, dictionary, 2 packs wide ruled binder paper, 1 package 5-tab dividers, pack #2 sharpened pencils or mechanical pencils w/extra lead, 2 boxes of Kleenex, 12″ ruler (inches and metric), standard 3-ring binder, scissors, 2 glue sticks, colored pencils, 24 box of crayons, red correcting pen or pencil, one highlighter, $1 for take-home folder, pencil sharpener w/shaving collector.
GRADE 5 -5-10 #2 sharpened pencils w/erasers or 3 mechanical pencils w/extra lead, black or blue pens, colored pencils or crayons, scissors, ruler, pencil box for storage, white 8 1/2 x 11 in. wide lined notebook paper, NIV Bible (inexpensive), 3 ring binder, 1 pkg of 5-tab dividers, highlighters, 2 boxes of Kleenex, $1.00 for take home folder.
GRADE 6 – KJV, NIV, or NAS Bible, 8 ½ x 11 college ruled notebook paper, 1″ binder with dividers, 5 subject spiral notebook, paperback thesaurus, paperback dictionary, hand sanitizer, #2 pencils or mechanical pencils, supply box to hold pencils, etc., large box of Kleenex, 24 pack crayons, colored pencils, watercolor markers, assorted highlighters, scissors, glue sticks, good eraser, watercolor paint set, 2 pocket folders, 1 black or blue pen, 12″ ruler, protractor, $20.00 (for planner, science labs).
GRADE 7 – Five 1.5″ 3 ring binders, notebook paper, simple planner, pens/pencils/erasers, protractor, large box Kleenex.
GRACE 8 – Five 1.5″ 3 ring binders w/dividers, 8 ½”x11″ notebook paper, planner, pens, pencils, eraser, 3″x5″ index cards, red & green felt pens, large box Kleenex, Bible (KJV, NIV, NKJVor NAS), set of colored pencils.
