What a year it’s been!
I want to thank each parent for your support, encouragement, and prayers throughout this school year. It truly has been my very favorite year of teaching. It’s been so rewarding to see these two classes learn from each other, to see Third Grade grow in maturity and self-control from the example of the Fourth Grade, to see Fourth Grade bloom beyond the eight year olds that I normally teach. What an exciting, rewarding year on which to end my teaching career.
There will be no Bible verse or Spelling words this week and no homework.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week are minimum days with 11:50 dismissals.
Bring a sturdy bag to school by Wednesday. We’ll be cleaning out the desks on Wednesday.
If your child hasn’t returned their year-end permission slip, please do so immediately.
Also, if they haven’t paid $6, be sure to send it in by Friday.
Thursday we’ll leave school at 8:40 for Shasta Lanes.
My drivers are Jana’ Asdourian, Michelle Hull, and myself.
We’ll return to school at 11:20.
Bring a lunch from home.
We’ll be on campus in the afternoon.
Dismissal will be at the normal 3:00.
Have a great summer.
I’d like to encourage every child to read 20 minutes a day.
This is the best way to insure they’ll be ready to pickup learning in the fall.
Don’t forget to full out the Summer Reading Sheets.
