Tues., March 23 Student choice – Written or Oral Report
I will be providing the books for the first four book reports.
The March book report is a book of the child’s own choosing.
- It must be at least 100 pages in length.
- It must be a book that the child has not read before or have previously had read to them.
- It must be from our school library or pre-approved by me.
When written reports are required, students may pick up a copy of the report form in the classroom. They are available on the back counter at any time.
- Written reports are to be done at home.
- Written reports are to be done by the child in proper, complete sentences. Parents may check these reports for spelling and punctuation errors. The structure, thoughts, and ideas must be the child’s own work.
- Instruction and ideas for the oral book reports are on the back of this page.
There will be weekly reminders about up coming book reports in the Weekly Newsletter and lots of reminders in class…so…ALL late, unexcused work will be marked down 10% per day.
