SECOND GRADE NEWS
May 17-20, 2010
Monday: Minimum Day – 11:50 am. Dismissal.
No Homework.
Tuesday: Minimum Day – 11:50 am. Dismissal.
No Homework.
Wed.: Minimum Day – 11:50 am. Dismissal.
Kindergarten Graduation- 7:00 pm. In Auditorium.
Thurs.: Last day of school- See note below.
8th Grade Graduation- 7:00 pm. In Auditorium.
Friday: NO SCHOOL- HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!
12th Grade graduation- 7:00 pm. At Little Country Church.
TAKE NOTE OF:
This week we are reviewing with fun math, spelling games and reading during
the morning hours on minimum days.
LAST WEEK & LAST DAY OF SCHOOL- Minimum days Monday, May 17 to Wed,
May 19. The last day is a regular school day. We will go bowling at Shasta
Lanes, 11093 Black Marble Ct. (244-5773). The cost is $6.00 per person. The
time will be from 9:00-11:00 am, May 20. We will then travel back to school,
have a fun lunch, activities (indoor or outdoor, weather permitting). Please
sign up for lunch items on permission form if you have not already done so.
Parents please try to make arrangements for siblings as we need to keep it as
a special 2nd grade day.
Official drivers for Thursday bowling are: Carie Garcia, Tajinder Dhinsa, Andi
Rodrigues, Caprice Stogner, Nancy Labianco, Jennifer McDaniel, and Anna
Rawson.
Other parents may drive if they want to take their own child. Any driver with a
child other than their own in the car must have insurance information filed
with the school office.
Thank you for allowing me the privilege of having your child this year. I love
each one so dearly.
