Bible Verse: Psalm 100:1-2

Monday:
Check folders, look for any unfinished work.
Practice Psalm 100:1,2
Please read over the words on the Phonics pages.
ESL students give Chinese/Korean presentation to K.
Tuesday:
Chapel
Read for the Reading Log. You may count your reader from
school in your reading log minutes. Have fun!!
Practice Psalm 100:1,2 Pack your 100 things in ziploc.
Wednesday:
100th Day of School -Bring 100 small items in a
ziploc bag. Items should be one particular thing.
(Like pennies, paper clips, candies, marshmallows,
buttons, post cards, army men, etc.)
Parents are welcome to join us for learning activities
in the morning. If you would like to be a helper, please
let me know!
Library today! Girls’ Show and Tell
Thursday: Read for the Reading Log. Please practice verses for tomorrow.
Turn in homework page.

You may choose to have your child leave the front blank,
or just write special numbers 1-14.
Objectives and Concepts this week:
Bible:
Daniel, Psalm 100
Building our relationship with God. Students learn why it is good to
choose to do right, even if they are the only one!
Reading:
Students continue to read in their readers and in other books.
Many are reading one vowel word sentences quite well. Look for books at the library or book store that have beginning readers for your
child.
Numbers:
Counting, 10′s, 5′s, 2′s, telling time to half-hour, adding and subtracting. Tan grams, counting in Chinese, ordinal numbers.
Recognizing numbers and numbers that come “after.”
Social Studies:
China, children in China, culture.
Science:
Weather
Wow! What a week last week! We had fun watching the big kids come to school in their costumes for Spirit Week. On Friday, we went to the gym for the final cheers, skits and races. We cheered and were excited to see all the festivities. I am sure you heard about it at home. Excitement was in the air!!
