First Grade Newsletter
Fabulous First Grade Newsletter
May 17 – 21, 2010
Our last day of school is this Thursday, May 20th and we will be having a class party. Please send in the permission slip and the $6.00 as soon as possible if you have not done so yet. We will arrive back at the school by 3:00 for regular school dismissal.
Over the summer months, please have your child read as often as possible. I sent home the information for our school’s summer reading program in last week’s packet. I would love to see each student going into Second Grade receive a reward next school year for reading over the summer. If you have any questions, you can ask me or check with the office during the summer months. Also, if you want you still want to order the summer workbook, you can call 1-800-845-5731 or order online at www.bjupress.com.
I want to thank all the parents who have helped out in the classroom this year. Thank you to the parents who came on our field trips. We could not have done all that we did without your involvement.
This is the last week of school and I wanted to say thank you for allowing me to teach your children. I want to let you parents know what a pleasure it has been to teach each and every one of your children. They are all special and I have enjoyed getting to know each one individually and seeing their unique talents and abilities. I will enjoy watching each one grow in Christ through the school years. Have an absolutely marvelous summertime!
